Yes. I offer one 30 minute lesson free of charge.

$25.00 per 30 minute lesson
$37.50 per 45 minute lesson
$50.00 per 60 minute lesson
When are payments due?
Payment for lessons are due the first lesson of the month.

Do you teach Suzuki?
Yes and No. My instruction and philosophy does overlap Suzuki ideology, methodology, and music selection. At the current time, I have not pursued Suzuki certification.
Do you teach orchestra music?
Yes, I work on orchestral music for students in school, youth, and community orchestras. School and youth orchestras audition students for admittance and chair assignment. Auditions typically include scales, solos, and orchestral excerpts. All music, including orchestral music, is beneficial to musical growth and instruction.
Do you teach styles other than classical?
I have instructed students in a variety of styles, including fiddle, jazz, pop, and Christian worship.
When are you available?
I teach select evenings and Saturdays.
Are you punctual?
Out of respect for your time and mine, I am punctual.
Do I need to be present for my child's lessons?
Yes, I enjoy and prefer parent involvement including attendance at lessons. Lessons are a wonderful way to connect with your child including practicing and creating music.
Are there studio recitals?
Yes. Recitals are organized to promote performance experience and are a wonderful opportunity for students, friends, and family.
At what age do you start students?
Young children must show interest in violin lessons, be able to focus for lesson duration, and need active parental involvement during lesson instruction and at-home practice. I have taught students as young as four years old. I have taught beginners of all ages from elementary school to retirees.
What skill level do you teach?
I teach all skill levels, beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Each student receives personally tailored lesson instruction based upon skill and interest.
What does each student/child need for lessons?
Students must provide their own instrument, lesson notebook, music, and supplies. Students may rent or own their instrument. Students must provide all necessary supplies including rosin, strings, stand, and metronome to facilitate effective instruction.
